Teddy Bears' Picnic 2013

One of my favourite Discovery sessions is our Teddy Bears' Picnic. The children love to bring their teddies and special soft toys to school and enjoy yummy treats outside.

We cut fruit to share with our teddy ....

.... then decorated a teddy bear biscuit, yum ....

.... we bandaged our injured teddies in the teddy bear hospital .... 

.... then made easy teddy bear ear headbands ....

.... and designed a teddy bear bed for our teddies to sleep in (they were pretty tired by the end of Discovery).

After our Discovery session I let my class snuggle with their teddy whenever we are on the mat or reading at their desks. I love to see the children taking care of their teddy or special toy all day, and they love to have something soft to cuddle.
