We created these butterflies for our Mountaineers Discovery session. This was a great independent painting activity. Most of our butterflies are symmetrical, although as some paint dried before the butterfly could be folded in half some of them have an interesting paint effect. One clever child told me that she discovered that "the paint can look like feathers".
